These bows will be made with a thin piece of Hickory worked to a single growth ring as a backing, this will prevent the bow from failing if the sapwood should get damaged, as these bows are highly stressed this is a wise precaution.

Custom warbows can be made in a variety of woods with delivery dependent on the availability of suitable wood.
